September is Vouchers for Veterans Month at Kittery Community Market! 🇺🇸
All month long, we're honored to partner with Vouchers for Veterans to welcome our veterans and active duty service members to the market family table with a special thank you that truly nourishes.
Every Sunday in September (10 AM – 2 PM), each veteran and active duty service member receives $20 in vouchers to shop for fresh produce, local meats, artisan breads, and other farm-fresh goods from our incredible local vendors.
How to join us: Simply bring your military ID and proof of Maine or New Hampshire residency to the Vouchers for Veterans booth – look for the red tent at the market entrance where their friendly volunteers will be excited to welcome you!
This partnership brings together our local food community and an organization dedicated to honoring those who served, connecting veterans with the farmers and food makers who nourish our neighborhoods every day. It's what "creating community with local ingredients" looks like in action. 🤝🌱
